  • Self-discovery – One of the fundamental parts of therapy is self-discovery. I will guide you through introspective dialogue and self-exploration, where you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself – your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behavior patterns, allowing you to move into greater authenticity.
  • Safety to process your emotions and life experiences – Bottling up feelings or ignoring past hardships will limit your potential and lead to more struggles in life. Together, we will start to work through these challenges at a pace that you feel is comfortable and manageable. My goal is to help you identify, process, manage, and learn to productively express bottled up emotions, gain perspective, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
  • Trusting and safe therapeutic relationship – I believe the most important part of the counseling experience is the relationship you have with your therapist, including how safe, trusting, regarded, and understood you feel. I am intuitive, nonjudgmental, warm, and direct. I will be in this work with you and my goal is always to create a working relationship where you will feel safe to challenge limiting beliefs, confront fears, and embrace vulnerability – all essential components of personal growth.
  • Improve and refine interpersonal skills and relationships – Whether struggling with communication barriers, trust issues, or conflict resolution, I will equip you with the tools and insights needed to cultivate healthier connections in your life. By learning to foster empathy, active listening, boundaries, assertiveness, and strong communication skills, you will become more empowered to navigate relationships more effectively and foster deeper connections.
  • Cultivate your ideal self and pursue meaning in life – Beyond addressing immediate concerns, therapy will guide you towards envisioning your ideal selves and pursuing meaningful goals. I can help you clarify your values, goals, strengths, and take steps towards pursuing a life based on personal and professional fulfillment.
